Schrödinger's Dodo Lab: Solve a Murder with Genetics

Solve a murder with genetics (and a strawberry)?

Erwin Schrödinger won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1933 for his work on quantum mechanics. The Dodo is an ancient bird, one of the extinct species that scientists want to bring back. To find out how these facts are related, join us in the Dodo Lab!

Our leader, Shucha Zhang and her friends are local scientists who want to make science approachable for all teens. The labs that are being offered are fully interactive and not lecture-based. Many areas of science will be covered. Feel free to sign up for any or all of these sessions!

Looking for community service? Love science? Let us know! We are looking for high school lab assistants for these sessions. Please contact libraryteendepartment@watertown-ma.gov if you are interested.
