With the arrival of adult use cannabis dispensaries in Watertown, there are lots of questions about cannabis storefronts and legal adult use of cannabis in Massachusetts. We are partnering with non-profit ELEVATE Northeast, the Watertown Department of Community Development and Planning, the Watertown Business Coalition, and local dispensary Ethos to answer what you need to know. This program will cover things like regulations on and definitions of legal cannabis, how dispensaries are legally zoned and operated, laws around medical and adult consumption of cannabis, and more. *This program is open to adults 21+ and ID proof of age will be needed to attend. The Watertown Free Public Library neither condones nor condemns legal adult consumption of cannabis. This program is for public education only.
