Join multimedia artist and educator Crystal Bi in dreamwork – collectively envisioning the kind of communities we want to live in – through drawing, writing, creative play, rest, and discussion. Drawing inspiration from practitioners like Octavia Butler, Grace Lee Boggs, Ruha Benjamin, and adrienne maree brown, we’ll explore archival materials to find moments when grassroots dreamwork has changed the physical landscape of our communities and beyond. Participants will have an opportunity to engage with a public art installation and share a dream for our shared future. Ages 10+ are welcome.
