* This workshop is part of both our Sustainability Series and OCTUBER: a month-long celebration of potatoes at Hatch! *
Using potatoes, pennies, nails, and other simple materials, we will make working batteries and measure their electrical charges. The instructors will explain the chemistry of the materials and why they activate electronic components like LEDs.
