Inspirational lines of words on a page and lines of stitches on fabric are combined in this class to produce your own pocket-sized, handsewn poetry book. Poetry will be provided ready to apply to the fabric swatches, but you may bring your own (short) choice of poem or original words to add to your booklet. Bring text to textile in celebration of National Poetry Month!

This workshop is for adults and older children ages 12+. Children ages 12-17 may attend on their own as long as their parent or legal guardian cosigns Hatch's waiver form in person.
This workshop starts on time. If you arrive late, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist.
Registration is required.
This event takes place at WFPL’s Hatch Makerspace, located at 20 Summer Street in Watertown, just a few blocks away from the Library. Hatch is an entirely free workspace full of tools and materials that you can use anytime we're open.
