(At Hatch) Bad Drawing Club: Picture 2 Painting

* This workshop is part of our Sustainability Series *

Featuring instructor Caroline DeBrota

Do you feel that you're bad at drawing? Have you ever felt frustrated that your art doesn't look as "good" as that of others? None of that matters at all at Bad Drawing Club, where we will explore the joy of making easy drawings that are relaxing, freeform, and empoweringly imperfect. Hatch Makerspace volunteer Caroline will lead the club in making easy drawings so uniformly bad that you might just start to rethink how good your bad drawings can be.

---

Picture 2 Painting: Take tracing to new heights (or lows)! Using basic and upcycled materials, we will transform photographs into interesting, individual, colorful, and perhaps evenbad paintings. Leave your expectations and self-criticisms at the door for this 12th edition of Bad Drawing Club at Hatch!

---

All materials and tools are provided.

This workshop is for adults and older children ages 12+. Children ages 12-17 may attend on their own as long as their parent or legal guardian cosigns Hatch's waiver form in person.

This workshop starts on time. If you arrive late, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist.
