(At Hatch) Bad Drawing Club with Caroline DeBrota: Zentangle *Sustainability Series*

* This workshop is part of our Sustainability Series! *

Do you feel that you're bad at drawing? Have you ever felt frustrated that your art doesn't look as "good" as that of others? None of that matters at all at Bad Drawing Club, where we will explore the joy of making easy drawings that are relaxing, freeform, and empoweringly imperfect. Hatch Makerspace volunteer Caroline will lead the club in making easy drawings so uniformly bad that you might just start to rethink how good your bad drawings can be.

Zentangle: Not sure where to start with drawing? Dive into the the wild and wacky world of Zentangles, an amped up version of doodling with simple, space-filling patterns and shapes. Watch your drawing grow like a coral reef, layer by layer, as the next generation of doodle marks builds up from the forms of its ancestors. You might find it hard to stop!

All materials are provided.

Participants must be age 12+. Youth ages 12-17 must have a parent or legal guardian sign their waiver form in-person.

Registration is required.

This workshop starts on time. If you arrive late, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist.
