If you have ever wanted to learn how to make your own handbound sketchbook this is the class for you. We will go over the construction of a traditional sketchbook wrapped in a soft leather or waxed canvas cover that protects the delicate pages, and most importantly your art. Using a long stitch bookbinding technique, signatures that you assemble will be sewn directly to the cover and the entire unit will be fitted with a cord to tie securely shut for safe transportation. This simple yet elegant lightweight book is ideal for indoor or outdoor use.
