Coffeehouse Concert - Thea Hopkins

Something comfortable, something cozy - come listen to relaxing music in our library’s own coffee house! Join the WFPL in welcoming a slate of performers for our Coffeehouse Concerts this winter. All concerts will be accompanied by hot coffee and fresh pastries from local business O’some Café. Registration required, held either outside or in the Watertown Savings Bank Room.

A member of the Aquinnah Wampanoag tribe of the Martha’s Vineyard, MA, performing songwriter Thea Hopkins calls her music Red Roots Americana. Her 2018 EP album, “Love Come Down,” was nominated for a 2019 Indigenous Music Award, an international competition, in the folk category. Thea first came to wider public notice when Peter, Paul, & Mary recorded her song “Jesus is On The Wire” in 2004.
