Do you feel that you're bad at drawing? Have you ever felt frustrated that your art doesn't look as "good" as that of others? None of that matters at all at Bad Drawing Club, where we will explore the joy of making easy drawings that are relaxing, freeform, and empoweringly imperfect. Hatch Makerspace volunteer Caroline will lead the club in making easy drawings so uniformly bad that you might just start to rethink how good your bad drawings can be.
Dynamic Drawings: Take your drawings into the next dimension! With the addition of surfaces that flip and flop, we will make - and draw upon - flexahedrons and hexaflexagons (don't worry, they're not as complicated to make as they are to say). These paper fidget toys have shifting sides that combine and recombine pieces of your art to make drawings that are truly dynamic!
All materials are provided.
Participants must be age 12+. Youth ages 12-17 must have a parent or legal guardian sign their waiver form in-person.
