Take and Make Craft: Learn to Paper Quill! (Via Zoom)

NOTE: Take and make quilling kits have all been reserved at this time. If you join the waitlist for this class, you will still be able to participate if you want to order your own kit! Details for this will be sent out prior to the class offering.

Quilling, the coiling and shaping of colorful paper strips to create a unified decorative design, has been around for years — hundreds, in fact! This art form is used to create intricate designs and pattern for fun and display.

In this Take and Make craft, we will learn the basics of paper quilling to create brilliant cherry blossom greeting cards! Each Take and Make kit contains enough materials for two greeting cards, along with basic quilling tools.

The class is 2 hours long, and is recommended for people 12+ due to the sharp objects used to coil and cut paper. IMPORTANT: Participants must supply glue for this class! This is the only thing the kit does not contain. Any craft glue that dries clear is fine.

Kits will be available for registered patrons to pick up at the 2nd floor Reference Desk beginning April 3rd.

This program is being offered through the WFPL by Quilling Card LLC of Framingham as part of an educational initiative to teach paper quilling to the public at large.
