Author DeWitt P. Henry and his daughter, artist Ruth K. Henry, propose an interactive exhibit and reading. From the father, poems found in prose and reassembled in new forms across the pages of his latest book, Foundlings. From the daughter, mixed media assemblages of each found poem created from found objects and tucked into small wooden boxes. Audience is invited, during the reading, to guess the poems’ assemblage illustrations and explore the metaphors these two generations have found and woven across words and imagery.
